Mission/Vision
- All students can learn and should be allowed to do so.
- All students have dignity and worth, mutual respect, and a right to feel safe in a healthy and orderly environment.
- All students have the right to participate in the school counseling program.
- Learning requires the active participation, mutual respect, and individual accountability of students, teachers, staff, parents, and community members.
- Diversity is to be respected and appreciated as we foster unity among our students, faculty, staff, and community.
The counseling department will work with all members of the Governor Morehead School community to promote and foster student success. The program is a data-driven program designed to evaluate and assess support needs.
Students can sign up for individual sessions, work in small groups of targeted needs, and participate in class discussions and lessons.
