GMS Summer Camp Students Featured in a New Video about the All-Access Eco Trail at the North Carolina Museum of Art!

The Governor Morehead School's 2024 Summer Camp was a huge success this year. Attendees participated in many  fun activities. One that was extremely rewarding was the visit to the All-Access Eco Trail at the NC Museum of Art which was developed to be accessible for all people to enjoy. This immersive audio tour invites you to explore the vibrant plant life, diverse wildlife, and rich habitats of the museum’s grounds. With the choice of a three-quarter mile or a shorter quarter-mile route, the trail features audio descriptions, tactile signs with braille and tactile images, and interactive sensory prompts. Created in collaboration with the local disability community, this inclusive experience is designed for all visitors. To embark on this unique adventure, download the NCMA Park App or visit the Park to experience nature like never before!

Hear what some of the GMS Summer Camp students had to say about their experience by watching this video with audio descriptions or without audio descriptions.

"We at Two Dots Studio are proud to have partnered with the North Carolina Museum of Art to bring this project to life. The audio content was meticulously crafted by NCMA staff, recorded and produced by Two Dots Studio, and brought to life by the voice of Aaron Thaddeus. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Accessibility Stakeholders Committee for their invaluable feedback, and we are excited to share the video content featuring the Governor Morehead School for the Blind students that  we produced for this inspiring project. The video was filmed and produced by Two Dots Studio, an inclusive content agency in North Carolina."
